I had a truly wonderful experience at Residence Michelangiolo. The room was clean, spacious, and had a lovely terrace overlooking a beautiful garden. The location was perfect - close enough to walk to the sights but in a quiet area for peaceful evenings. Angela and Cherubino were amazing hosts, going above and beyond to make our stay memorable. They recommended fantastic local restaurants where we were the only non-locals. I will definitely be returning to Residence Michelangiolo on my next trip to Florence. I highly recommend this hotel for a great stay.

Our room had a great little kitchenette, perfect for getting baby food ready for our 7 month old. The hotel has lots of charm and is away from the hoards of other tourists but close enough to walk to everything. We would definitely stay again if we ever make it back to florence.

There was a bit of traffic noise in our room- facing the road- but not an issue if we closed the windows at night.

The room was beautifully decorated, with what were probably the highest ceilings I've ever had in a hotel. The bathroom was also lovely, with a semi-opaque ceiling that let in natural light. The neighborhood is quiet and green, and connections to the city center are good by bus or even by walking (particularly to Santa Croce). Staff were always friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

The hotel's decoration exuded a charming and elegant ambiance, reminiscent of a bygone era. The general areas were spacious and well-maintained, providing a comfortable space to relax and unwind. The hotel's accessibility for senior people was exceptional, with wide hallways and easily accessible rooms.

It would have been even more enjoyable if the children working there had been more attentive to the needs of senior guests.

The Junior Suite Apartment at Residence Michelangiolo offers stunning views of the treetops and green gardens, creating a peaceful and serene atmosphere. As a nature lover, I was in awe of the beautiful surroundings.

Personally, I found the extravagant bathroom in the Junior Suite Apartment a bit too opulent for my taste. However, others might appreciate its exclusivity.

Residence Michelangiolo is one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. We booked apartment for 4 people; both rooms were spacious, very clean, with two connecting terraces, small kitchenette, two bathrooms. It is very comfortable including all amenities you might need during your trip (great wifi connection!) and beautiful Florentine decor. We simply loved it! The location of the residence was fantastic, very convenient if you're coming by car as we did and plan on traveling around Tuscany. Personally we have enjoyed the fact that we were out of the touristic hub, yet close enough to walk to the city, it is in a very charming neighborhood with many local stores and restaurants around. And lastly Angela was a great host, very helpful and welcoming. Overall it's a wonderful place which makes you feel like at home, great Florentine experience!

The rooms were spacious and the location was close to the Piazza Michelangelo and within a 15 minute walk to the centre of Florence.

It would have been helpful to have extra blankets in the room, as well as some additional items for the kitchen, such as a dishcloth, tea towel and kettle.

The value for money at this charming hotel was excellent. The room was spacious, elegant, and cozy, and the high ceiling added a special touch. The location was convenient, just a 20-minute walk to the city center, and the staff, especially our host Angela, were incredibly helpful and friendly.

Breakfast delights, but could use more variety.

This hotel is located in a calm residential area surrounded by beautiful gardens. The rooms are spacious with modern amenities including an excellent mini-kitchen and large bathroom. The garden access is a plus and breakfast is included.

Everything was satisfactory.

The facilities for self catering, charming staff, lovely garden, room layout, handy for bus travel, restaurants nearby - all made this a very good choice for a stay in Florence.

Very friendly and helpfull staff. We had a great time while we were staying there and can recommend this to anyone. Their location is within walking distance from the city center (15mins) and even closer to some very nice dining locations, away from the classical tourist traps! Parking your car at the residence premises is also very handy.

Great location, helpful staff, beautiful neighborhood. Walkable to main attractions and had a private parking lot. Coffee shop nearby for breakfast!

Nothing to complain about at all.

We stayed in a beautiful apartment near the river and would definitely stay again. There are kitchen facilities and dining table for cooking food bought at the food markets which we did and ate as well as restaurants we frequented.

good location at approx. 15min walk from city centre, very nice, classic building with very comfortable rooms even including a fully equipped kitchenette. parking onsite free of charge, very friendly and helpful staff
